KIIS-FM’s late night and weekend personality, Dave Styles, started his road to radio in the 7th grade, where he used to record his own weekly countdown show using his home stereo and a microphone. Then he would sell copies of the tapes to kids at school. (Isn't that illegal?) We hope to find some of those tapes to embarrass him one day. At age 13, he began working as a mobile DJ for parties, weddings, and special events. Before landing at KIIS-FM, Dave made stops at KHTR in Pullman, WA, and KKRZ in Portland, OR, before returning to Seattle, where he did weekends at KBKS.

Born in Seattle, Washington to British parents, Dave made a move "across the pond" at age 6 and grew up in Cantril Farm in the West Derby district of Liverpool, England. His sisters, Lisa and Karen, and his brother Steve live in Seattle, and his sister Susan lives in Florida. Most of his relatives, though, reside in Northwest England and Wales.

Dave Styles is on KIIS-FM weeknights from 1am to 5am, right before Ryan Seacrest. He knows that some people working the late-night graveyard shift rely on him to keep them awake and entertained, so he tries to keep his listeners informed about their favorite artists and celebs, as well as "goings-on" around Southern California.

In addition to his SoCal listeners, Dave frequently receives calls and emails from people all over the world, like those in London, Australia, and Germany, who listen online at www.kiisfm.com. While it’s the middle of the night here in Los Angeles, it is daytime in other countries, and the people who listen online are very vocal of their appreciation for the station. "It's amazing how many people listen to KIIS-FM," Dave says.

Aside from radio, Dave also works in his home-studio producing background music for television shows, such as 'Miami Ink', 'Celebrity Fit Club', 'E! True Hollywood Story of Britney', 'Confessions Of A Teen Idol', and 'Tough Love' which is currently airing on VH1.

"I also hope to stop sucking on auditions," he believes. "That way I can be on TV sometime soon."

"When I'm not working, you can find me chillin at home, wandering around town or on the soccer field playing," Dave reveals. "I am the goalkeeper for Angel City FC, a soccer team in the LA Municipal League, as well as the teams 7's squad in the Santa Monica 7 on 7 League, which plays Saturday mornings." He is also the center fielder for the Loose Cannons Softball team, which plays Monday nights in Burbank.

Of course, Dave is known as the host and emcee for TigerHeat with Ingenue. It's a title he has held for over five years, and Dave admits that he just has fun and acts goofy on stage. "The dancefloor is so huge and packed. Everyone is having a good time every week. I just try to keep it fun on stage." With that, you can find him on the TigerHeat stage.
